How to setup your PayPal Account for Cell Phone Payments
- Login to your account on this site
- Click on "My Profile"
- Click on "Setup Pay By Fone"
Pick a preapproval limit. You can make payments to any cell phone# upto a maximum of this limit. You will be redirected to paypal.com to authorize this preapproval. This authorization permits this site to make payments from your PayPal account on your behalf. We do not store any account information on our site. You can always revoke this authorization using the "Cancel" command below.
PayPal Commands
There are two types of PayPal payments:
- From the main menu, you can say "Pay"
You will be prompted to enter the receiver's telephone number (area code and tel# like "4085551212")
You will be prompted to use your keypad and enter a dollar amount. Enter "1925 for 19 dollars and 25 cents"
You will be asked to enter "1" to Accept this payment or "2" to Cancel - From the Yahoo Mail menu, you can say "Pay" after an email is read out to you
You will be prompted to say a dollar amount. Say "one nine point two five for 19 dollars and 25 cents"
With both the above options, you will hear a message confirming the payment was successful. If there was an error processing the transaction, the exact error message is read out too
Additional PayPal commands are:
- Cancel
Cancel your preapproval setup on this site - Balance
Listen to the balance amount of your preapprovals. You can make payments upto this limit. - History
Listen to the last 5 receipts or payments made from this site via your PayPal account
Payments Transaction History and Refunds
- Login to your account on this site
- Click on "My Profile"
- Click on "PayByFone Center"
There are 3 types of transactions displayed in the PayByFone Center:
- Summary of recent Payments
- Summary of recent refunds (initiated by you)
- Summary of payments received by you
You can refund a payment received by you by clicking the "Refund" button
Refund Policy and Click2Call
infinear.com uses PayPal APIs to facilitate payments between users. There may be situations when senders need to contact merchants regarding payments. Users may contact merchants upto 3 times to resolve disputes. Follow the instructions below to contact a merchant. If these 3 calls do not resolve the dispute, the user reaches infinear.com when they call infinear.com and say "Support" at the main personal menu. infinear.com reserves the right to cancel a merchant's account if there are too many disputed transactions reported by users.
- Login to your account on this site
- Click on "My Profile"
- Click on "PayByFone Center"
- Identify the disputed payment and click on "Click2Call". The merchant's telephone# will be queued up at infinear.com
- Call 1-877-726-5297 wait for the personal menu and say "Support"
- You will be connected to the merchant and you can discuss the payment
- You can make upto 3 calls to the merchant via infinear.com If these 3 calls do not resolve the dispute, you can call 1-877-726-5297 and talk to infinear.com customer support for assistance
